Tesla model 3 leads Netherlands sales June 2019

Netherland is facing drop in overall car sales which is no different from the global statistics. The car sales dipped 10.9 % in June compared total tally down to 226,482. Opel has emerged as the best selling brand in June 2019 with 3,921 units. Opel has toppled Volkswagen from first position to claim the spot. Volkswagen is now the second highest with 3,618 units sold. The world highest seller Toyota had to settle in the third position with 3,100 units. Peugeot has sold just 18 units lesser than Toyota and is at 4^th position with 3,082 units. Renault comes in at 5^th position. Tesla is the first pure electric car manufacturer to be in the Top 10 getting 6^th position. It has jumped from 19^th position in 2018 and 21^st position in May 2019.

Comparing the models sold in June 2019 in the Netherlands, Tesla’s electric car Tesla Model 3 is the highest-selling car by a huge margin in June 2019.Tesla Model 3 has sold 2,487 units which is 1,208 units more than Open Karl which is the second-highest selling car in June 2019 with 1,279 units. Renault Clio, Toyota Aygo, Ford Focus, VW Polo, and Ford Fiesta follow the ranking in order.
